Install VShell
Open the Terminal app on your Mac, paste this line and press Return:
curl -fsSL https://vshell.vaisoftlab.com/install | bashIt shows what it will download and asks before it installs anything.
- No admin password. Everything goes into your own home folder: the app to
~/Applications/VShell.app, the voice tools to~/.cshell/voice. - No Homebrew needed. VShell brings everything it needs, including its own voice tools.
- Needs a Mac with an Apple chip (M1 or newer), macOS 14.0 or newer and 4 GB of free space.
There is no release to download yet. Please come back later.
Repair or update
Run the same line again. Parts that are already right are skipped, and a stopped download continues where it stopped.
AI tools
VShell works with Claude Code, Codex and Cursor. The install command does not install them; it shows whether each one is found and how to install it. You need at least one of them, and to log in to it once.
